Graham Healthcare Group is seeking a Bereavement Department Administrative Assistant who will support the ongoing daily operation of the Agency, specifically by meeting the organizational and administrative needs of the Bereavement Department.
Bereavement Department Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
Accurate documentation in HCHB as appropriate.
Utilizes Excel to track departmental data.
Maintains flexibility in the performance of duties to accommodate departmental needs.
Emphasizes commitment to the quality of service during interactions with internal and external customers (patients, families, administration, nursing, and physicians).
Help coworkers, as needed.
Contributes to maintaining unit morale by encouraging teamwork.
Ensures compliance with the company’s Core Values and Core Competencies.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Bereavement Department Administrative Assistant Requirements:
High school diploma/GED required; some college coursework or associate degree preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year of hospice experience preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service capacity.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Accurately and appropriately documents information.
Contacts patients and families, providing effective support.
Exhibits patience, flexibility, and a cooperative attitude.
Delivers excellent customer service.
Effectively manages concurrent demands and multitasks.
Detail-oriented with attention to detail.
Capable of reading and following written instructions and documentation.
Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving skills.
