Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Assistant to facilitate the smooth running of our warehousing operations.

The Warehouse Operations Assistant will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock.

Our ideal candidate have a keen eye for detail, proficient organization skills, and a strong, team-oriented work ethic.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in receiving and processing incoming stock and materials
  • Pick and fill orders from stock, pack and ship orders, and manage and track inventory
  • Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness standards, including clearing workspaces of debris and hazardous materials
  • Work closely with the warehouse manager and team to meet warehouse performance goals
  • Assist in the organization of the warehouse layout for optimum efficiency
  • Report any discrepancies in inventory records to the warehouse manager
  • Help in loading and unloading trucks, checking in merchandise by means of receiving documents
  • Respond to requests for information and access relevant files as required

  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Worker or similar role
  • Ability to adhere to employer and government safety regulations
  • Performing tasks that ensure the warehouse operates smoothly and meets customer satisfaction goals.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have and maintain in good standing professional license, certificate, or registration, as applicable.
